National Cadet Corps is a voluntary organization sponsored by the Government. Students in the first year of college are eligible to join in it. NCC of VLBJCAS has one wing, namely the Army Wing. Cadets are trained on various NCC subjects like, drill, weapon training, map reading, hygiene and sanitation, social services, disaster management, current affairs etc. The eligible cadets appear for B certificate and C certificate exams in II and III year respectively. Possession of these certificates gives bonus marks in employment especially in Defence and Police Services. Cadets are selected for prestigious camps like All India Republic day Camp, All India Thal Sainik Camp, All India Vayu Sainik Camp, National Integration Camps, Prime Minister’s Rally and Youth Exchange Programme to foreign countries. Cadets also get opportunities to participate in adventure camps like Mountaineering, Trekking and Para-jumping. Cadets get opportunities to serve society through Swachh Bharat Cleanliness Drive, Anti-Tobacco Rally, Tree Plantation etc.
