NSS
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the students to take part in various community service activities & programmes led by the government. The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands-on experience to young students in delivering community service, thereby enabling them to become accomplished social leaders, efficient administrators with the addition of humanistic attributes in them.

NSS IN VLBJCAS
The NSS in VLBJCAS functions with three units and 300 volunteers who participate in the credible, multi-dimensional service in the fields of education, environment, health, and skill development. The opportunities to participate in National Delegation Programme, National Integration Camp, National Youth Camp, and Republic Day Parade have helped the NSS volunteers to idealize their social skills, leadership qualities and in their overall holistic development. Along with the NSS, the Red Ribbon Club and the Road Safety Patrol are also contributing to serve the society.
